So when Matt Lauer had asked whether kids had died in the FAYZ, Brianna’s chalked answer had been: A bunch. Kids have been dying all over the place. This isn’t disneyland.

(still just the one from mtv’s site, so it still won’t play for a lot of you guys, sorry about that)
There are just few weeks left before LIGHT, the very last book in the beloved Gone series is released. To prepare for this very sad day, we should reread the books together, so we can experience everything one more time, in a community with other people who loves the series as much as we do.
Hearing other people’s opinion as we go through the books is fun. That’s why you shoud liveblog (liveread? no?) as you read, and write something about what you’re reading. Make sure to tag it as “#gone reread”, so we can gather all our liveblogging. And try not to use the “#gone series” tag, because we don’t want to spam anything.
Here are the dates I set up:
February 18 - February 24: GONE
February 25 - March 3: HUNGER
March 4 - March 10: LIES
March 11 - March 17: PLAGUE
March 18 - March 24: FEAR
(March 25 - April 2: Time for speculating!)
I left the last week so we could have room for speculating. What do we think is going to happen, who will make it, who’ll die, will they get out, etc.
I’m super excited for this, and I hope you who are reading this will be as well. Have a swell day.

Stay tuned for dates (and a “cool and official” graphic so it looks like serious buisness), but I’m thinking a book a week until Light is released. A lot of you probably read faster than that, but I want this to be a thing that everyone can be a part of, even if they read in a slower pace, or (like me) seriously needs to focus on school and can’t just read all day even if they want to.
And for you who reads faster, just read ahead if you want to, but it would be fun to slow down the place, and really absorb the books.

Would anyone be interested in an organized Gone reread before Light is released?
Something like this, basically. And we can liveblog our reread and tag it with “#gone reread” (so we don’t spam the actual #gone series tag.)
It would be a chance to relive the series together. It’s not something you have to sign up for, you can skip books and chapters and whatever, it’s just for fun.
So you should like or reblog this post or send my a message or any other kind of response if you’re interested, and if enough people are, I’ll make a proper post about it.
